Aviva Life Insurance Company Limited changes legal name to “Blue Insurance Limited”

HONG KONG, 27 April 2020 – Aviva Life Insurance Company Limited (the “Company”) has today announced the change of its legal name to Blue Insurance Limited, effective immediately. The Company will gradually update all of its systems and communications to its new legal name, though both names shall be officially regarded as the same legal entity while this process is being completed.

The change of legal name will not have any impact on the Company’s capacity or ability to continue to perform its role in respect of customer policies. There will be no changes to the day-to-day management or terms and conditions of the Company’s existing customer policies due to the change of legal name, nor will there be any changes to the Company’s operations as it relates to existing customer policies.

The Company continues to be both regulated by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority and authorised under the Hong Kong Insurance Ordinance to carry on its relevant classes of long term insurance business.
