No matter which designated clinic you visit, you will be charged at a standard rate for each category of outpatient services under the Plan. After enrollment, you are eligible to receive outpatient services with discount. Our outpatient services cover General Practitioner consultation (inclusive of 3 days basic medication), Specialist consultation (inclusive of 4 days basic medication), Physiotherapy treatment, Chinese Herbalist consultation, Chinese Bone Setting treatment, Acupuncture treatment and Chiropractor treatment. What's not covered?⁴

Any expense charged for treatment or medications not covered under the policy will not be reimbursed. Any conditions caused by alcohol and drugs that are not prescribed by a doctor will not be covered as well.

The Compassionate Death Benefit is not payable due to suicide within 1 year from the policy issue date. The total premiums paid for the current protection period will be refunded.

Please note that The Charge may be increased within 10% every calendar year starting from 1 January 2023 due to medical inflation. We will notify you The Charge in advance of such an increase.

This FAQ is provided for reference only and does not constitute any part of the insurance contract. Terms and conditions of the “WeMedi Outpatient Protector’s 1st year discounted premium”
  1. The “WeMedi Outpatient Protector’s 1st year discounted premium” entitles applicants to the discounted 1st year premium of “WeMedi Outpatient Protector” (this “Promotion").

  2. This Promotion is offered by Blue Insurance Limited (the “Company”).

  3. The doctor network of “WeMedi Outpatient Protector” (the “Plan”) is provided by Health Maintenance Medical Practice Limited (HMMP Ltd.).

  4. This Promotion is available between 12 June 2021 to 30 June 2022 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotional Period”). To be eligible for this Promotion, applicant must successfully complete the application and payment for the Plan through the Company’s website within the Promotional Period ("Eligible Applicant").

  5. This Promotion is subject to a limited quota for the first 1,000 Eligible Applicants within the Promotional Period.

  6. This Promotion is only applicable to new customers of "WeMedi Outpatient Protector". Each Eligible Applicant can only enjoy this Promotion once.

  7. This Promotion is only applicable to the premium during the first policy year of the Plan. Automatic renewal will be applied at the expiry of the benefit term and the policyholder is required to pay the premium at the original price of $338.

  8. Cancellation of the Plan’s policy, except for reason under clause 9, will not result in any premium refunds.

  9. If the policyholder cancels the Plan’s policy within the cooling-off period from the policy issue date, the Company will only refund the policyholder the actual premium paid under the Promotion.

  10. This Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or any other value in part or in whole or its equivalent.

  11. All policy provisions of the Plan remain unchanged. Please see the policy provisions for details.

  12. The total premium includes insurance levy to be collected by the Insurance Authority.

  13. This Promotion is only applicable to the policies issued in Hong Kong.

  14. This Promotion cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with any other promotion or discount offers for the same insurance product.

  15. The Company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this Promotion or discontinue them at any time without prior notice.

  16. The above information is for general reference only. It shall not be construed as an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer or recommendation to purchase or sale or provision of any products of the Company. Details of the coverage of the Plan are subject to the policy provisions stipulated in the policy by the Company.

  17. This Promotion is subject to these terms and conditions. The Company has the right to reject any applications. If there are any disputes, the Company's decision is final and conclusive.

  18. Should there be any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
