To submit a claim, you only need to upload the picture of your official receipt and fill in simple claim information. Does WeGuard PharmaEASY Protector only cover medicines for illnesses?

Prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, Chinese tonic herbs, health supplements, anti-epidemic products etc. at designated dealers¹ are all covered. In general, there are three categories of eligible items, including over-the-counter medication/Chinese medicine, health supplement and Chinese tonic, and topical medications and personal care products. Here are some examples:

Over-the-counter medication/Chinese medicine: Common cold medicines, cough medicine, gastrointestinal medicine, throat lozenge, painkiller, antipyretic, anti-Inflammatory medicines, anti-allergic agents and birth control pills, eye drops, etc.

Health supplement and Chinese tonic: Heat relief drink, chicken essence, cardiovascular support supplements, ganoderma products, liver and kidney support supplements, cordyceps products, ginseng products, abalone, bird’s nest, vitamins and mineral supplements, bone and joint supplements, nutrition milk powder, nails support supplements, alcohol alleviants, heart support supplements, collagen supplements, hair support supplements, anti-aging and skin health support supplements, slimming supplements, men health supplements, digestive system support supplements, vision supplements, early childhood nutrition supplements (including infant's digestive support supplements), cod liver oil products, blood sugar / pressure manage supplements, prenatal vitamins and supplements, etc.

For the avoidance of doubt, WeGuard PharmaEASY Protector does not cover glasses, contact lenses, contact lens cleaning solutions and anti-fog products.

For full terms and conditions and exclusions, please refer to the policy document itself which shall prevail in case of inconsistency. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail. Blue Insurance Limited reserves the right of final approval and decision on all matters.

Terms and conditions of the “WeGuard PharmaEASY Protector’s discounted premium”

1. The “WeGuard PharmaEASY Protector Entry Plan Discounted Premium Offer ”entitles applicants to enjoy a discounted price of HK$0 premium for the 1st and HK$158 premium for the 2nd year of “WeGuard PharmaEASY Protector” entry plan (this “Promotion").
2. This Promotion is offered by Blue Insurance Limited (the “Company”).
3. This Promotion is available from now until 30th September 2022(inclusive) (“Promotional Period”). To be eligible for this Promotion, applicant must successfully complete the application and payment for the entry plan of “WeGuard PharmaEASY Protector” (the “Plan”) using promo code through the Company’s website within the Promotional Period ("Eligible Applicant").
4. This Promotion is subject to a limited quota for the first 200 Eligible Applicants within the Promotional Period.
5. The Promotion only applies to customers who have never successfully applied for “WeGuard PharmaEASY Protector”. Each applicant can only apply for “WeGuard PharmaEASY Protector” once.
6. For this offer, the first year premium of WeGuard PharmaEasy Protector is HK$0. During the application process, HK$1 will be charged and rebated to the applicant’s credit card for authorization purpose. The premium payment is required to be paid by the eligible applicant.
7. This Promotion is only applicable to the premium during the first and second policy year of the Plan. Automatic renewal will be applied at the expiry of the benefit term and the policyholder is required to pay the premium at the original price from the 3rd year onwards.
8. Under this Promotion, no plan changes are permitted during the first and second policy year of the Plan. Cancellation of the Plan’s policy, except for reason under clause 9, will not result in any premium refunds.
9. If the policyholder cancels the Plan’s policy within the cooling-off period from the policy issue date, the Company will only refund the policyholder the actual premium paid under the Promotion.
10. This Promotion cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or any other value in part or in whole or its equivalent.
11. All policy provisions of the Plan remain unchanged. Please see the policy provisions for details.
12. The total premium includes insurance levy to be collected by the Insurance Authority.
13. This Promotion is only applicable to the policies issued in Hong Kong.
14. This Promotion cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with any other promotion or discount offers for the same insurance product.
15. The Company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this Promotion or discontinue them at any time without prior notice.
16. The above information is for general reference only. It shall not be construed as an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer or recommendation to purchase or sale or provision of any products of the Company. Details of the coverage of the Plan are subject to the policy provisions stipulated in the policy by the Company.
17. This Promotion is subject to these terms and conditions. The Company has the right to reject any applications. If there are any disputes, the Company's decision is final and conclusive.
18. Should there be any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
