If no claim for covered critical illnesses has been made during the benefit period, the plan guarantees 109% refund of the total premiums paid upon policy maturity.

Coverage Against 38 Critical Illnesses

Receive a critical illness benefit equivalent to 100% of the sum assured² upon the diagnosis of any of the covered 38 common critical illnesses.

Extra Coverage Against 4 Special Illnesses

Important Notes and Disclaimers

1The “Approved COVID-19 Vaccination” shall mean the vaccination for the purpose of immunization against COVID-19 (not correlated to vaccines administered after the onset of infection), including the first dose, subsequent doses and booster doses, and must be approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration or health authorities of the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and prescribed by a Registered Medical Practitioner and administered by the same or a licensed or registered nurse of Hong Kong during the Promotional Period in Hong Kong.

2The payable amount of Critical Illness Benefit shall be equal to the higher of:
- a.100% of the latest sum assured; or
- 100% of the total premiums paid as at the date of diagnosis of relevant critical illness, less
- c.Any paid or payable special illness benefit if
  - i.the critical illness is directly or indirectly, wholly or partly, caused by or arising from or contributed by the relevant special illness within one year from the date of the diagnosis of such special illness; or
  - ii.the special illness benefit was paid because of other illnesses (with intensive care unit stay) and the critical illness is diagnosed within one year from the date of diagnosis of such other illnesses (with intensive care unit stay); and
- d.any indebtedness.

3Additional 20% of sum assured of special illness benefit will not be applicable and will be deducted from the benefit payable of critical illness benefit if

- a.the critical illness is directly or indirectly, wholly or partly, caused by or arising from or contributed by the relevant special illness within one year from the date of the diagnosis of such special illness; or
- b.the special illness benefit was paid because of other illnesses (with intensive care unit stay) and the critical illness is diagnosed within one year from the date of diagnosis of such other illnesses (with intensive care unit stay).

4Other Illnesses (with Intensive Care Unit stay)

Resulting in a qualified Intensive Care Unit stay with the use of invasive life supporting device(s) for one hundred and twenty (120) or more consecutive hours.
5Unemployment Benefit will only be available if you have been made redundant or were laid off at any time from one year after the policy issue date or any reinstatement date of the policy (whichever is later) and during the premium payment term while the policy is in force. This benefit can only be exercised once per policy.

Terms and Conditions of ‘#WeShield “WeCare 109% Refundable Critical Illness Protector” Limited Offer’:

1.‘#WeShield “WeCare 109% Refundable Critical Illness Protector” Limited Offer’ Promotion entitles applicants to 1 (one) HK$200 PARKNSHOP eVoucher (the “eVoucher”) upon successful application of “WeCare 109% Refundable Critical Illness Protector” (this “Promotion") between 20th January and 30 June 2022 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotional Period”).
2.This Promotion is offered by Blue Insurance Limited (the “Company”).

3.Eligibility (“Eligible Applicant”):
- i.Hong Kong ID card holder with a residential address in Hong Kong; and
- ii.Aged between 18 and 65; and
- iii.Received at least one dose of the Approved COVID-19 Vaccination
4.The “Approved COVID-19 Vaccination” shall mean the vaccination for the purpose of immunization against COVID-19 (not correlated to vaccines administered after the onset of infection), including the first dose, subsequent doses and booster doses, and must be approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration or health authorities of the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and prescribed by a Registered Medical Practitioner and administered by the same or a licensed or registered nurse of Hong Kong during the Promotional Period in Hong Kong.
5.“Registered Medical Practitioner” refers to a doctor acknowledged by the Medical Council of Hong Kong and authorised to practise in Hong Kong.
6.The eVoucher will be sent by email within 6 months after the cooling off period (21 calendar days) of “WeCare 109% Refundable Critical Illness Protector”. The policy under the Promotion must be in-force at the time when issuing the eVoucher.
7.The eVoucher cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash or its equivalent. The Promotion could be invalid if any applicant violates this clause.
8.This Promotion is subject to a limited quota for the first 1,000 Eligible Applicants within the Promotional Period.。
9.Each Eligible Applicant can only enjoy this Promotion once.
10.This Promotion cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with any other promotional or discount offers for the same insurance product.
11.All policy provisions of “WeCare 109% Refundable Critical Illness Protector” remain unchanged. Please see the policy provisions for details.
12.“WeCare 109% Refundable Critical Illness Protector” is not a bank savings product.
13.The total premium includes insurance levy to be collected by the Insurance Authority.
14.This Promotion is only applicable to the policies issued in Hong Kong.
15.The Company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this Promotion or discontinue this Promotion at any time without prior notice.
